- Validating Cooling Efficiency and Stability in AI Data Center PoC Environments
ONION Software announced that it is participating in a next-generation immersion cooling demonstration project for AI data centers in collaboration with S-OIL and industry partners.
The project aims to validate the performance, operational stability, and practical applicability of immersion cooling technologies in a real AI data center environment as demand for high-density AI infrastructure and power-efficient cooling solutions continues to grow.
As part of the demonstration, S-OIL will provide its immersion cooling fluid solution, while ONION Software will operate the PoC infrastructure environment and integrated monitoring platform required for the verification process.
The demonstration will be conducted at ONION Software’s Giheung AI Data Center PoC Center, where participating companies will evaluate cooling efficiency, thermal stability, and operational reliability under real-world AI server workloads.
The project is being carried out in collaboration with Global Standard Technology (GST), which will provide immersion cooling equipment, and Wellmade Computer, which will supply immersion-ready AI servers.
Through this joint initiative, the participating companies aim to contribute to the development of a scalable and reliable immersion cooling ecosystem for next-generation AI data centers.
